One of my favorite types of projects to work on are those that let be be as creative as possible. Along with my good friends and expert knife makers at Northern Knives, I have been able to turn my wild art ideas into tangible, functional pieces of art!
NORTHERN KNIVES COLLABORATION:
THE FAR OUT BUGOUT
The Far Out Bugout is my latest collaboration with with Alaskan knife company Northern Knives.
This is our 4th official collaboration, and this time we really decided to take it the extra mile. Not only is this Benchmade Bugout fitted with titanium scales made by Flytanium, but we have anodized, engraved, and cerakoted those scales and the blade to add an unbelievable amount of contrast and detail to this space themed slicer.
Nostalgia was the main inspiration behind the artwork on this piece. I set out to create a comic book style story of an astronaut soaring through space, only to end up in an extraterrestrial fight for his life.
Northern Knives used their incredible talent and technology to bring my vision to life. I couldn't be happier with the results!
